Logistics Manager

Position Overview 

Printed Solid Inc. is hiring a Logistics  Manager that will manage our growing needs. As our Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire logistics operations of our company. Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods and services to our customers. You will coordinate and collaborate with various departments to optimize our supply chain processes and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This is an on-site role in Newark DE.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery of products and services. 

  • Manage and monitor logistics operations, including inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution. 

  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to streamline the supply chain process. 

  • Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency. 

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. 

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics service providers. 

  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and prepare regular reports for management. 

  • Analyze and improve logistics processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. 

  • Manage and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support as needed. 

  • Collaborate with other departments to align logistics activities with overall business objectives. 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management or a similar role. 

  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles and practices. 

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities. 

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 

  • Experience with international logistics and customs regulations. 

  • Knowledge of lean management principles and practices. 

  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
