E3D High Precision Heater Cartridge
Please note that if you are planning to use this on a printer to verify that you want 12v or 24v versions. For example the Prusa MK3 printer uses a 24v power supply and the MK2 uses a 12v power supply.
With these new heater cartridges, E3D has managed to improve on their already first-class 30-watt heaters and now including their 40-watt heaters as well. They have also added a connector, so that combined with their cartridge thermistor you can now change Hot Ends without having to modify all your cable routing. The cable included is also crimped with ferrules at the other end to make plugging in your new cartridge much easier and neater (see images). Get your HotEnd hot quickly and reliably hit the highest of temperatures with these high shiny new cartridges.
Every heater comes with one meter of silicone-insulated high-temperature cabling, and is available in 12V or 24V.

Exactly what I needed
This was exactly what I needed to get my mk3s with copperhead back up and running after the previous cheap heater wire broke in transition to my bear frame setup. This is built tougher than stock or cheap replacement on eBay. Treat your printer with higher quality parts if you want to have good return.

Back up cartridges
I purchased these as a back up since I seem to damage them at times when replace heater block and nozzles. Have used these before and they are of good quality.
Must have upgrade for copper Volcano kit
These cartridges heat up much faster than the included 30W units in the kits. Seems ****** for a high temperature kit to come with a cartridge that can't reach high temperatures. This cartridge can reach 300° with a strong fan blowing on it.
