The Prusa specific V6 HotEnd Kit
- Intended as a drop-in replacement for your original Prusa i3 MK3, MK3S MK3S+ printers Hotend this is a KIT all pieces are separate to rebuild your hotend or build the hotend yourself. Ships with the standard V6 components, plus a Prusa specific thermistor, heatbreak and 24V 40W heater cartridge.
The Prusa V6 HotEnd offers the same all-metal, high-performance reliability of the V6, whilst swapping out several of our standard components with Prusa specific parts. These include a 40W heater cartridge for increased power, a longer wired thermistor and a heatbreak with Prusa specific internal geometries - designed to improve retractions with the Multi-Material upgrade.
This is a 24V HotEnd and is intended for function with a Prusa MK3. MK3S or MK3S+.
Do not use this HotEnd with 12V Prusas such as the MK2 or MK2S as this may damage your printer

Easy to assemble, perfect wire length. Swapped it in, ran a PID tune and first layer calibration, and it was good as new!
United StatesWish I could give a 5 star review to this hotend but it isnt functional in my prusa all I get is thermal errors and issues with the heating of the hotend reached out to a local guy and he said the hot end is faulty or not designed for the PRUSA MK3S. Hopefully when I reach out to printed solid they can help.

Pros: USPS shipping took 2 days to delivery to rural address Cons: Doesn't include PTFE tubing. Does it say this in the ad YES it does. However, the PTFE tubing is in the pictures. PTFE tubing is PART of a complete hot end, as it not used in any other sub-assembly. Cons: Not assembled. I don't really care, but its not as advertised. A better description of the product would "partially complete, rebuild kit". This is fine, I would still buy the kit, but I would order PTFE tubing and block out additional time to fix the printer. Hopefully it actually turns on and runs right. I got a thermistor just in case there was some problem with this "kit", so now it's time to order PTFE tubing for when this stuff breaks eventually.
United StatesPerfect replacement for a broken hot end
I had a hot end that became a massive glob of plastic. This is a super easy drop in replacement! Just remember to save a couple things from your old hot end if possible. There's a piece on the end of the heater wires that you'll need to connect the new one to your board. Super easy swap though!
United Stateswrong product shipped, less than great customer service
Ordered a hot end kit, received a assembled hot end. This normally wouldn't be an issue but I also purchased a titanium heat-break to put in. The heat-break was over torqued or cross threaded into the HeaterBlock and snapped when I tried to remove it. Customer service wasn't helpful and refused to help in anyway other than blaming me. I was super excited to have a US based resource for Prusa parts when Printed Solid was acquired by Prusa, but I guess I will still be buying parts for my printers elsewhere.
