A transition roll is when we go from making one color to another color. So you may get half of two colors or one color and the rest of the spool is some off mix. OR you may get some random mix of colors all together. So if you don't care about color because you plan on painting it or just don't care at all then this might be a good solution for you. They are still 1kg rolls and still in specification. Just the colors are not consistent or a mix or just completely off . Sorry, no special request or color preferences are accepted. The spool is chosen at random.

I bought this with the intention of sanding it down and painting all over it, so color didn't matter at all. With that in mind I read other reviews to expect brown, or **** colors, which to my surprise was wrong, i got a bright orange and yellow! It failed on mt first print, but that was early on so i didn't waste too much, a quick clean of the plate and raft fixed all the problems i encountered. Packed with a free sticker and airhead candy was a nice touch! It would be nice if larger orders were available, but even still... Would definitely buy again!

I get consistently great prints form Jessie PETG. The transition role is about 20% used, and I still don't know what color it will transition to, but the color will not matter to the flower pots being printed

PS Jessie is my go-to filament, I've got several spools of each PETG that they make and keep them on hand. The transition spool is great because PSJ is already quite affordable but getting that quality with a mystery color for such a discount is even better. I use the transition roll for prototype prints, or things where I don't care about the color, and get that consistent Jessie quality. Never had an issue with the cardboard spools as is mentioned in other reviews, so a little bummed to see the return to single-use plastic spools. But, the filament itself is fantastic, especially when the price is factored in.
