***Warning*** do not clean off the protective oils as can damage the rail stripping the rails will leave them open to oxidation that will lock up and bind the rail.

Got a gritty, binding carriage out of box. Followed LDO's recommendation to degrease the rails/carriage, move the carriage around while soaking to dislodge anything, and then repack with a qualified lubricant: https://docs.ldomotors.com/en/guides/rail_grease_guide Carriage still binds. It's unusable and basically cuts my input shaping recommended acceleration by 75% Printed Solid's support tells me that I shouldn't have stripped the grease despite LDO's recommendation, then adds a "warning" to this page not to follow manufacturer recommendations, and then refuses to help me and tells me to deal with LDO in China on replacement. It's been less than a week of me having this rail/carriage in hand. What the literal heck? I expected more from both the rail and from Printed Solid.
